Seeking Adventure in Barcelona with The Seeker Wines

IMG_1254.jpg

During our recent trip to Barcelona we visited some of the major sites like the Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell and Barceloneta among other areas. As much as we love to take in all the major sites we also like to take time to unwind and relax. While exploring the city we discovered the Parc de la Ciutadella in Barcelona. And we figured, what better way to unwind and take in the beautiful views of the park than with a glass of wine from The Seeker Wines

The Parc de la Ciutadella is the perfect place to relax after exploring some of Barcelona’s major sites. The park offers so many activities; you can rent a row boat around the lake, there’s a museum and even a zoo; but we opted to relax by the fountain area with a glass of our favorite Pinot Grigio from The Seeker Wines.

The fountain area known as the “Cascada”, which was one of Anthony Gaudi’s projects while in college, is surrounded by a small lake and guarded by dragons among other figures. This place made the perfect backdrop to enjoy a glass of wine and spend a warm afternoon. You can even spot groups of people enjoying a picnic here, working out, and even taking dance classes. Nothing goes better with a glass of wine than a beautiful view and location.

The Seeker Wines Pinot Grigio comes from the northern region of Italy. They use hand-harvested grapes that undergo a three week cold fermentation process which helps maintain its fresh acidity. Their Pinot Grigio has tasting notes of white fruit and apples and pairs perfectly with cheeses, seafood, or on its own.

The Seeker Wines are perfect because they are all about “Seeking Adventure” and, as an avid traveler, that is always our motto whether exploring locally or abroad. To learn more about their wines and to shop their products make sure to visit their website.
